Inspired by my zoology professor's favorite venomous snake, the Timber Rattlesnake, that is native to Virginia, as well as some other south east states! I wanted to draw them a gift for their birthday. They have a pretty potent venom but are hesitant to bite.
Fun fact: Their rattles are actually not filled with anything inside, the rattling noise comes from the dry skin hitting against itself!
